DESIGN

My love for graphic design began in room 300 of Community High.

Here’s how it happened.

What started as a filler class sophomore year of high school, soon turned into something much more. Being on the staff of my high school’s nationally award-winning magazine, The Communicator, gave me the unique advantage of becoming a designer that understands a story from the inside out. As the Print EIC from 2020-2022, I learned to support my peers by encouraging them to cover topics they are passionate about, help them find the essential stories in their pages of transcriptions, and work through a design lens that amplifies the voices within the story.
