Disney+ already excels at personal recommendations, but choosing something to watch together presents a different kind of opportunity. Blended introduces a lightweight feature where two profiles can merge their preferences to create a combined recommendations feed designed for shared discovery.
Using the same signals that power individual suggestions—viewing history, genre affinity, and behavior patterns—Blended surfaces content both viewers are likely to enjoy. It adds a playful, intuitive way to find something together without the usual hassle of deciding what to watch.

Improve the Playback Hand-off
Design a seamless path from the “Play Now” button to different viewing contexts, whether a user wants to watch on their own phone, hand it off to a TV, or launch the title on a shared device for both people to enjoy.
